Announcement for the BPFF 15th Season

1024 715 Boston Palestine Film Festival

Welcome back to the 15th Annual Boston Palestine Film Festival! From October 8 – 17, 2021, we’re excited to share our incredible 2021 program, including:

  • 9 virtual screenings
  • 1 in-person screening
  • 26 features and shorts
  • 1 live, closing night community celebration

Since you found this post, you’ve noticed that we kept busy in quarantine revamping our website. We hope you like the redesign as much as we do!

While you won’t want to miss any of this year’s program, see some key highlights of the 2021 festival:

  • Beginning at 6pm ET on Friday, October 8 you’ll be able to start streaming films from Eventive.
  • Our Opening Film is 200 Meters, a narrative feature, and is available for the duration of the festival for our audience members in Massachusetts. Like all of our films, once you begin viewing the film, you have 48 hours to complete your screening.
  • We are pleased to present the US Premiere of As I Want with Women in Film and Video of New England.
  • We are honored to host former BPFF volunteer Munir Atalla’s film Wolf’s Milk in our Palestine at Work program. This is one of two programs that is available world wide.
  • Don’t miss films with a connection to our hometown, Boston! Boston Connections is a program of short films including the World Premiere of the film Angel of Gaza by Ahmed Mansour. This is one of two “pay what you can” programs to increase access to Palestine narratives.
  • Two of our programs Fedayee, Georges Abdallah’s Fight and the shorts presentation Gaza in Focus, are co-presented with Jewish Voice for Peace Boston (JVP Boston).
  • Join us in person for our closing film Gaza Mon Amour at the Coolidge Corner Theatre followed by an end-of-festival party.

All virtual films will be available for streaming the entirety of the festival, October 8 – 17. Purchase a ticket, three-film pass or all access pass to unlock content to view from the comfort and safety of your own home.

Our closing screening will be held in person at the Coolidge Corner Theatre followed by a post-screening gathering at Hops n Scotch. Please review the theater’s vaccination policy before purchasing your ticket.

We look forward to seeing you virtually and in real life at the 2021 Boston Palestine Film Festival!
