Summary
In order to confront the ghosts that haunt him, Director Andoni assembles an eclectic group of ex-inmates of Israel’s infamous “Russian Compound”(al-Moskobiya)to construct a replica of the interrogation center where he himself was jailed at age 18. From fragmentary memory, day after day, the former prisoners re-enact their traumas using techniques that are reminiscent of the ‘theatre of the oppressed’.
