Summary
During the First Palestinian Intifada 1987, Atef is chased by the Israeli army and finds himself trapped in an alleyway. An elderly woman hides him in the bath, where her granddaughter, Mariam, is taking a shower. Atef and Mariam battle their mixed feelings, which soon grow into admiration and warmth following the soldiers’ departure.
