SUMMARY
As the Palestinian grandmother prepares musakhan, she recalls memories of displacement and the struggle to access its ingredients under occupation. Once a dish that brought the family together, current circumstances have made those gatherings impossible. Despite these challenges, musakhan remains a symbol of resilience and Palestinian heritage.
This short film will be screened as part of the Oct 21 program at MassArt.
