SUMMARY

In 2013, a possibly ancient bronze statue of Apollo—God of Arts, Beauty and Divinations—is found in the Gaza sea. This treasure, coveted by all, vanishes soon after, triggering wild speculation. In this twisty mystery filmed in Jerusalem and Gaza, we visit archeologists, forgers, historians, government ministers, and opportunists and are asked to ponder who controls historical artifacts—their myth, patrimony, monetary value, and future. The Apollo of Gaza plunges us into the barely known reality of Gaza where life subsists, undefeated, despite devastating wars and a blockade.
