SYNOPSIS

A unique portrait of an indigenous community, the Beduin, whose voices are rarely heard.

SUMMARY

Every morning, on a highway in the middle of the desert, Jamal waits for a ride to go to work. Ghadeer gets up before dawn to make bread and prepare breakfast for her five children. This Beduin family lives between Jerusalem and Jericho in the Occupied Palestinian West Bank in a shack rather than the tent their ancestors used to live in.

A unique portrait of an indigenous community whose voices are rarely heard.
